When the summer starts to drag
We’re already in August but some days summer feels like it’s dragging, especially if you run out of ideas of things to do.
Lifehacker has an awesome post up with ten ways to entertain young children for $1 or less - and they’re quick to note that it doesn’t include the television.
I love the list. There are a couple on there that we’ve done but some others will be fun to try. Our weather is gearing up to be totally insane tomorrow with the base temperature being 33C (91.4F) and the humidity will bring it up to 43C (109.4F). That doesn’t exactly make you want to run around outside in the sun so we’ll turn on the air conditioning, break out the popsicles, and we’ll try a few of these ideas!
I think I’ll root around the cupboard for a couple of tin cans and do the tin can phone first!
