Make your own toy kitchen
With the lead recalls everywhere, here’s a great alternative to buying plastic. I currently have a toy kitchen that’s not very big - which is good because we don’t have a ton of space.
That being said, once we move the girls into the bigger room (we have one decent-sized master bedroom, one small room for them, and a bigger one for my husband’s studio; eventually we’ll trade the kids’ room and the studio, probably in the new year), I’d like to try finding an old entertainment unit from the Salvation Army or Craigslist, one that’s not too overly huge. Then I will follow the instructions for making this incredible play kitchen out of it. Isn’t that awesome?
Once that’s done you could find yourself completely caught up in the world of making your own felt play food to go in it.
