MILPs

We all know what a MILF is, right? Thanks to American Pie, even people who would never think of actually using the term in a sentence still know what it is. (What? You still don’t know? It’s a very attractive mother who, according to others, is a Mom I’d Like to… Well, you know.)

Strollerderby recently used a term I had never heard before - the MILP. It’s the Mom I’d Like to Playdate.

I can think of several people who fall into the MILP category for me, whether they’re online, offline, or celebrities. I’d love a playdate with some of the amazing women I’ve met over the years in various online locations, whether it’s my own personal blog or parenting forums. I’ve met many MILPs that way. I’d love to have a playdate with some of the people I see at the park or in the McDonalds playland who look like fun but whom I’m too shy to approach. I’d love to have a celebrity playdate with Angelina Jolie and all her kids, Gwen Stefani and her son, and just for the sake of curiosity, Katie Holmes and little Suri.
