True Mom Confessions
Has anyone here ever written anything over at the True Mom Confessions site? I’ve done it a few times.
If you don’t know the site, basically it’s an anonymous forum where you can type in your confession about being a mom and submit it. It shows up shortly afterwards on the site.
What’s really validating is that next to your confession is a little vote-type link where people can “say” they’ve felt the same way by clicking on “me too”.
I’ve written stuff there before and come back later and felt much better when I’ve seen that X amount of people have said they went through it too. It just makes you feel a little less alone, and sometimes that can feel good when you do something differently than the other parents around you.
