Just in time for summer reading - Reader Views Kids

by Sherry on June 4th, 2008

If you’re a book fan, there are countless places you can go for reviews on books. Between official sites like Amazon.com and reading-centric social sites (like GoodReads.com), you can get inundated with people’s opinions on novels.

What if you’re a kid? You might not really care if a bunch of adults like a book or not, you just want to know if your peers think it’s worthwhile.

Steer your kids over to Reader Views Kids and you’ll find reviews on books that your kids care about, written by other kids who have read them. There are also interviews and other fun things.

Aside from being a great site for kids of all ages, it’s a great way for parents to figure out what others in that age group are into.

Summer time is perfect for having a lot of outdoor fun, but in between the swimming and bike rides, I always used to love lying on the grass under a tree with a good book when I was growing up. If you help your kids find some books they’ll really like, they too can spend part of their summer exercising their brains in a fun way!

Thanks for mentioning Reader Views Kids website. Yes, we sure do have kids reviewing kid’s books and they are having a blast doing it. We are in dire need of reviewers in the 6/7 age category - basically the early readers group. Moms - our guidelines are on http://readerviews.com/reviewerguidelines.html If your child is interested and you are willing to help him/her with the review, fill out the application form. Happy reading!!
