It’s Always Something
We got all moved! The girls did well with their first week of school - only one had teary eyes but I knew at least one of them would take after me in that area so we were prepared for it, she’s doing much better this week!
We’re still in the same school district as their last school but this one does quite a few things differently - like floating PE days and other “specials,” meaning they’re not always on a Monday or a Thursday, they rotate from week to week. I have no idea how I’m going to keep track of that since I can’t find the papers that tell us what their letter day is, it seems to have become a casualty of the move.

Ours works like that too. They’re on a six-day cycle which is something I’ve never really understood (my high school was a seven-day cycle). It would be much easier to remember if gym was Monday, library Tuesday, etc.
At this point, we’re two days in and I still have no idea what day is gym day, so I’m sending her gym shorts and running shoes with her in her bag just in case!
