Not the flavour of the month.

There is an interesting debate brewing in our local paper about monosodium glutamate (MSG) and its effects on health. Basically the argument is between Ajinomoto, the Japanese MSG manufacturer, and readers who have been writing in to dispute the Ajinomoto spokesman’s claims that MSG occurs naturally in certain foods and thus is safe for consumption.
